“We decided last minute to plan a trip to Hawaii and decided last minute that we wanted family photos done. I had posted to fb in search of a photographer & Marissa was one of many who reached out. Upon checking her socials, her work was the closest to what we were looking for. From the beginning, Marissa was very easy to work with. She was very informative and had great communication. Her website was easy to maneuver which make booking with her simple. Our shoot was booked for sunrise which meant we had to be up super early but the day of our shoot went smoothly. It sprinkled briefly but Marissa was on top of it and had a blanket & umbrella to help us cover up. We are a very awkward family in front of the camera but Marissa made us feel so comfortable. Especially having a tired 8 year old & an uncooperative 1 year old. Despite having an unhappy toddler, she was able to catch the cutest smiles on both of my son’s faces & we are so happy with the outcome of our photos. Would definitely recommend!
