Oahu’s Most Beautiful Beach Locations

Oahu offers diverse beaches that serve as stunning backdrops for extended family photography including Lanikai beach which are the images featured in this post. Lanikai Beach is about a 35-40 minute drive in the morning at sunrise if you’re staying in Waikiki. If you’re staying at Koolina it is longer and I do not recommend it for a weekday due to traffic.

I often recommend finding a location near your hotel in Waikiki or Koolina for convenience, but if you’re looking for a more secluded location there are many more options from Waimanalo beach, to Kailua beach, Lanikai beach, etc. If you are booking a photo session with me, I have selected a few convenient locations depending on the package chosen.
