I worked with Marissa twice, once in Hawaii and again in California, for photos of my growing family. I found her online and chose her because I like her light, muted color, relaxed and candid style. I can’t emphasize enough how much she stands out in making the entire process stress free for her clients. I didn’t know what to expect after our sunrise session because our toddler was teething and grouchy, but Marissa was super sweet, kept him engaged by singing songs, and even had a starfish prop handy. We’re so happy with how the pictures turned out and are amazed that she captured so many beautiful shots in just 30 minutes. BOOK

Start by selecting your package and session date/time. Once that is completed, you’ll need to sign a client agreement. After you have completed these steps, the fun begins!

PLANNING

The next step is planning your wardrobe. I recommend simple classic styles in neutral tones. This will help us create the dreamy island portraits you see in my gallery.

YOUR IMAGES

I like to keep this easy. After your session, you’ll receive an online gallery with the best images. Once you choose your favorites, I’ll complete the retouching process before sending you your files and products.

As a mom myself, I know how important family is. It doesn’t matter if it’s just your immediate family or a multi-generational group; I understand the importance of preserving your family’s most precious moments.

My goal is to make this process easy, relaxed, and fun! I want your session full of piggyback rides, running, jumping, kissing, hugging, tickling, and spinning. I love to capture those sweet in-between moments and unique perspectives so that your photos are beautiful and unique to your family. Photos that you will look at every day and treasure.

There’s nothing like a family session on the beaches of Oahu. I photograph families in the surrounding locations, including Honolulu, Kailua, Kaneohe, Kapolei, Haleiwa, and various hotels such as the Aulani Disney Resort, Four Seasons Ko’olina, Kahala Hotel, and the Sheraton Waikiki.
